JHAPA –  The Election Officer’s Office has named the counting venues for all five constituencies in Jhapa district. Final preparations are underway to make sure the tallying process is secure and transparent.

Counting centres are:

  .      Jhapa-1: Mechinagar Municipality office

• Jhapa-2: Ballots will be counted at the Arjundhara Municipality office.
• Jhapa-3: The District Coordination Committee building is the counting site.
• Jhapa-4:  Counting will take place at the Kankai Municipality office.
• Jhapa-5: The Organic Agriculture Centre in Damak Municipality-8 will serve as the counting hub.

Election officials said that once polling ends, ballot boxes will be transported to these locations under tight security. "We have established a rigorous security protocol to ensure the integrity of the collection and counting process," a representative from the Election Officer's office stated. Ballot counting is expected to begin soon after all boxes from remote polling stations arrive at their designated venues.
